Bikablo Trainer & Consultant
Marc is the caretaker of bikablo for Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Global Bikablo Trainer team. He is an Agile Coach and Trainer who is passionate about helping people realise their true potential, and helping leaders create environments where teams can thrive whilst having fun! His transition into Agile was not an easy one, and he made many mistakes along the way until the required mindset shift took place. His real-world experience and humility combined with visualisation are powerful tools to help you avoid the pitfalls and accelerate your learning journey.
Before becoming an Agile Coach and Trainer, Marc spent over 30 years in engineering, project delivery and team management roles in the UK, Hong Kong, Dubai and Australia. He has worked in numerous sectors including Information Technology, Construction, Consulting, FMCG, and Finance. Since competing in Clipper Round the World in 2016, he has been helping large corporate clients scale Agile, and working with Business Agility industry leaders and global thought leaders. Marc became a published illustrator in 2021.
The fun bits
Marc loves spending time in nature, specifically ancient forests and being near, on, or in the ocean. He is a keen freediver and sailor, in 2015-2016 he circumnavigated the globe in the Clipper Round the World yacht race. Marc lives in Tasmania and “owns” (or rather is owned by) a classic wooden boat called Jacaranda, a.k.a The Mistress.
